Livy Leung Hoi Nga graduated with the Degree of Bachelor of Visual Arts from the Academy of Visual Arts, Hong Kong Baptist University.
Mismatched elements in daily life always intrigue Livy to construct a world between reality and her personal fantasy. She recomposes her thoughts towards different incidents happening around her and amplifies her imaginary world as a form of expression and self-indulgence within her art practice. Livy’s recent works focus on disseminating impressions about reality. By altering lines, shapes, colours in real scenery, she creates a flattened space on the canvas towards the intersection between the real and imaginary world.
Livy’s works have been included in various exhibitions, including solo exhibition Between A Pause (Gallery EXIT, Hong Kong, 2024), Nocturne, Nocturne (6/F ACO Art Space, Hong Kong, 2023); Once Upon (Soluna Fine Art, Hong Kong, 2022); Parallel Fantasies (Contemporary by Angela Li, Hong Kong, 2020); ASYAAF (Gallery LVS, Seoul, 2019); Sparkle! Show Art’s Hand: An Investigation on Art Labour (Oil Street Art Space, 2018). Artist currently lives and work in Hong Kong.
梁凱雅畢業於香港浸會大學（文學士），主修視覺藝術。創作圍繞日常零碎的畫面，經常被城市中錯置的景物吸引。她將觀看現實世界的體驗與個人幻想之間的對話伸延於作品上，藉此抒發一些未曾言明的情感、描繪那些現實未能看到的景象。近期作品側重於異化對現實的印象。透過將現實世界中熟悉的景物變形，平面化畫面的空間，以異化的線條、形狀和顏色進一步模糊與現實的聯繫，通往想像的世界。
梁氏的作品曾在不同展覽中展出，包括個展《靜止預習》 （安全口畫廊，香港，2024)；《夜域》 （6/F 艺鵠藝術空間，香港，2023）；《喁喁細語》 （Soluna Fine Art，香港，2022）；《平衡夢工場》 （李安姿當代藝術空間, 香港，2020）；《ASYAAF》 (Gallery LVS, 首爾，2019)；《火花！藝術勞動‧買定離手》 （油街實現，香港，2018）等等。 藝術家現工作及居於香港。
